Terms of Service
The deal between you and PullUp when you use the app or website to find and book nights out.
Draft v0.1 · 7 October 2026
Placeholder draft for the PullUp proof of concept. Not legal advice and not yet reviewed by a lawyer. It must be reviewed and replaced before launch.
Who we are
PullUp ("we", "us") runs a platform where clubs, bars, venues, promoters, colleges and communities ("hosts") list events and sell tickets, and where you ("you", the user) discover and book them. PullUp is a marketplace: the host organises the event and is responsible for it. We sell tickets on the host’s behalf.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 to create an account. Clubs, pubs, bars and any event that serves alcohol are only shown to people 18 or older.
- Give us your real name and date of birth. Bouncers compare your ticket name with your photo ID, and age rules depend on your date of birth.
- One person, one account. Keep your phone and email current and don’t share your sign-in.
- You can delete your account from Profile → Delete account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data).
Tickets
- A ticket is a licence from the host to enter one event under the host’s house rules. It isn’t a property right and can’t be resold for profit.
- Your QR code changes every few seconds and works offline. Screenshots and screen recordings don’t scan. Only the live code in the app or your web pass gets you in.
- Entry is the host’s and venue’s call. They can refuse entry for age, dress code, capacity, intoxication or safety. Our refund rules for refused entry are in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Group bookings are capped at 5 people, and each person gets their own pass. Some tickets (couple, table) admit more than one person; this is shown before you pay.
- Cover-charge tickets include drinks. Before you can pay for one, every person on the booking must verify their age with DigiLocker.
Prices and fees
The ticket price is set by the host. At checkout we add a payment processing fee (2% of the amount after discounts, plus GST on it). The total is shown before you pay and never changes after. PullUp’s own platform fee is paid by the host, not by you.
Your behaviour
Follow the Community Guidelines. Don’t use PullUp to harass anyone, post illegal or misleading content, take payments off-platform, or try to copy, forge or replay tickets. We can suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.
Our responsibility
We work hard to keep PullUp available and your tickets secure, but the service is provided "as is". We are not responsible for how an event is run, the service of alcohol, or what happens at the venue. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other law that can’t be excluded.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will tell you in the app before material changes take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts in Mumbai have jurisdiction.
