Cookie & Local Storage Notice
The small amount of data our website and app store on your device, and why. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Version 1.1 · Effective 8 October 2026
1. The short version
pullupnow.in and the PullUp app use only the cookies and on-device storage that are strictly necessary for them to work. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, tracking pixels or any cross-site tracking technology. To see how many people visit the website, we use Vercel Web Analytics, which works without cookies. Because of this, we do not show a cookie consent banner.
2. Website
Cookies
- Authentication cookies: set only when PullUp staff sign in to our internal tools, to keep them signed in securely. They are not set for visitors to the public website, legal pages or ticket passes.
Browser storage
- Web ticket passes: the pass page stores the ticket and its secure code in your browser’s local storage, and caches the page with a service worker, so that the QR code keeps working if your connection drops at the venue.
This data stays in your browser. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for pullupnow.in. If you clear it, an open ticket pass will need an internet connection to load again.
Website analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views on our website. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It records the page viewed (with ticket and verification links masked so their secret codes are never sent), the referring site, your country and your device, operating system and browser type. Visits are identified only by a hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours, so they cannot be linked to you or followed across websites. Our internal staff tools are never measured. The PullUp app does not use any analytics service.
Third parties
Maps on our website load map images directly from OpenFreeMap. That request reveals your IP address and the area of the map being viewed to the map provider, but no cookies are set and no account information is sent. Fonts and all other assets are served from our own domain.
3. App
- Sign-in session: the app keeps your sign-in session in its private storage on your device so you stay signed in. Other apps cannot read it.
- Tickets: the app caches your tickets and their secure keys so they work offline at the door. Ticket keys are stored in the iOS Keychain or the Android Keystore.
- Door devices (Hosts only): offline guest lists are stored encrypted on the door device and wiped automatically after the event.
- Preferences and cache: your settings, recently viewed events and images are cached to make the app faster.
Uninstalling the app removes all of this from your device. Deleting your account removes your data from our servers as described in our Privacy Policy.
The app does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA or Android Advertising ID) and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
4. More information
How we handle personal data in general is explained in our Privacy Policy (pullupnow.in/legal/privacy). If we ever add optional cookies or any tracking that identifies you, we will update this notice and ask for your consent first.
5. Contact and grievances
Questions, requests or complaints about this document or anything else on PullUp: email operations@pullupnow.in. If you’re writing about an error, include the reference code shown in the app so we can find your case quickly.
