Pricing & Fees

How ticket prices are set, every fee you or a Host pays, and exactly what you see before you pay.

Version 1.1 · Effective 8 October 2026

1. Our pricing promise

  • The total you see on the checkout screen, before you pay, is the total you pay. There are no hidden charges and nothing is added afterwards.
  • Every price is in Indian rupees (₹) and includes the applicable taxes on each component, as itemised at checkout.
  • PullUp never adds its own platform fee to your price. Hosts pay it out of their ticket revenue.

This page is published in accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, which require us to show the total price and a breakdown of all charges before you buy.

2. Ticket prices

Each Host sets the price of each ticket type for their event. Prices can differ by ticket type, for example:

  • General, Stag, Ladies and Couple entry. A Couple ticket admits two people on one QR code and is priced for both.
  • Entry + Cover Charge. The cover charge is part of the ticket price and is usually redeemable against food and drinks at the venue, as the Host describes in the listing.
  • Custom ticket types created by the Host, such as tables, VIP entry or early entry, with the inclusions described in the listing.
  • Free tickets (₹0). No fees are charged on free tickets.

Some ticket types have early-bird prices that apply until a set time or until a set number of tickets is sold, after which the next price applies automatically. The current price and when it ends are shown on the event page.

Prices for a ticket type cannot be changed by the Host after the first ticket for the event has been sold.

3. Payment processing fee (paid by you)

At checkout we add a payment processing fee of 2% of the ticket amount after any discount, plus GST at 18% on that fee. This covers the cost of processing your payment through our RBI-authorised payment partner, whichever payment method you use.

This fee is shown as a separate line at checkout. It is refunded in full if the Host cancels the event; for refunds you request yourself, see our Refund & Cancellation Policy (pullupnow.in/legal/refunds).

4. Platform fee (paid by the Host)

PullUp charges Hosts a platform fee of 2.5% of the ticket amount. It is deducted from the Host’s share of ticket sales before payout. You never pay it.

5. Worked example

For one ₹1,000 ticket with no discount:

  • Ticket price: ₹1,000
  • Payment processing fee: ₹20 + GST ₹3.60 = ₹23.60
  • You pay: ₹1,023.60
  • PullUp platform fee, deducted from the Host’s share: ₹25
  • Host receives: ₹975

Amounts are calculated in paise and rounded to the nearest paisa. For bookings with several tickets, fees are calculated on the total and split exactly across tickets.

6. Discounts

Promo code discounts reduce the ticket amount before fees are calculated, so you also pay a lower processing fee. See our Promo Code & Offer Terms (pullupnow.in/legal/offers).

7. Invoices and taxes

  • Your booking confirmation shows the full breakdown of what you paid. You can view it at any time from the booking in your Tickets tab.
  • Tickets are sold by Hosts. Where a Host is registered for GST, the Host is responsible for any GST on the ticket price and for issuing a tax invoice for it on request.
  • GST on the payment processing fee is charged at the rate shown at checkout.

8. Host plans and promotions

For Hosts

Subscription plans, Spotlight, Takeover, Push Blast and the Verified badge are priced as shown in Backstage and in our Host Plans & Promotions Terms (pullupnow.in/legal/host-plans). Hosts pay the same payment processing fee plus GST on these purchases; no platform fee is charged on them.
